Morbid Obesity
My sister is morbidly obese. She
tops out at just over three hundred pounds. I'm so worried about
her. She says she's tried everything and has resigned herself to
where she is. She seems happy though. Not depressed or
angry. Help?
Our hearts go out to you. It's
hard to worry about someone we love and watching daily as they continue
on the self-destructive roads.
However, there really is nothing you
can do but continue to love her. Be there for her and love
her. She's likely not too loving to herself and could use your
friendship and compassion.
She'll find her way. One day,
she'll find her way and want to get healthy. Be there to make sure
you can celebrate with her.
